In contrast to the Billion Dollar Club, where Genting Singapore hogged all the different categories, the Centurion Club winners for this sector are more diverse. Steel specialist BRC Asia tops this sector for having the highest returns to shareholders. Over the evaluation period, the company’s shareholders’ returns were at a CAGR of 18.1%.

Jumbo Group, which runs a multi-brand of seafood and premium restaurants mainly in Singapore but also across the region, has been ranked tops for its weighted ROE of 18.21 times for this industry sector over the evaluation period.

Stamford Land Corporation beat the rest of the companies in terms of profit after tax growth. In FY2016, the company reported earnings of $22.4 million, which increased to $34.6 million and $56.4 million for FY2017 and FY2018 respectively, before dipping slightly to $47.7 million for FY2019. Overall, its CAGR was 28.6% over the evaluation period.
