That said, Venture’s 9MFY2025 net profit stood in line with Tng’s expectations, at 75%, but at 71% of the consensus’ estimates. For the 3QFY2025, Venture’s net profit fell by 8.3% y-o-y to $55.6 million. Earnings per share (EPS) for the period fell by 3% q-o-q to 19.2 cents.
CGS International analyst William Tng has downgraded Venture Corporation to “hold” from “add” previously as he awaits strong earnings recovery from the group.
For the 3QFY2025 ended Sept 30, Venture’s revenue fell by 9.1% y-o-y and 2.8% q-o-q to $627.2 million due to softness in its lifestyle consumer technology domain. As such, revenue for the 9MFY2025 only came up to 72% of Tng’s and the Bloomberg consensus’ full-year estimates.
