Investment management and financial services provider BlackRock is no longer a substantial shareholder of Venture Corporation V03

after selling 635,111 shares via the open market on Aug 31.

The shares netted BlackRock a total consideration of $8.3 million or $13.11 per share.

Following the share sale, BlackRock’s total stake in Venture is now at 4.89% – or 14.2 million shares – down from its previous stake of 5.11%.

BlackRock's disposal comes a day after global investment manager, Schroders, bought 2,100 shares in the company for $27,300, or at $13 apiece. Schroders’ purchase, which was made on behalf of its clients on Aug 30, brought its stake up to 6% - or 17.45 million shares.

Shares in Venture Corp closed 13 cents lower or 0.99% down at $12.98 on Sept 4.
