With around six million residents, Singapore accounts for 0.07% of the global population. Yet, the city-state contributes US$31 billion ($40.12 billion), or approximately 0.55% of global green revenues, an outsized contribution if viewed from a population-to-revenue ratio perspective.
Listed companies with green revenues range from large-cap Straits Times Index constituents to small and medium-cap companies. Some of these companies include CSE Global, Keppel Corp and Sembcorp Industries, among others.
