Ivy Ng, CIO for Apac at asset manager DWS, is maintaining Europe at neutral in its multi-asset investment strategy after missed earnings and softer trade, but still sees opportunities for Asia-based clients to add selectively across European equities, rates and credit.
In an interview with The Edge Singapore, Ng favours European small- and mid-caps (SMID), banks, and healthcare, and continues to prefer euro investment-grade (IG) credit. She also urges broader diversification beyond AI, maintains a strategic long in the euro versus the US dollar, and outlines where Asia’s high-yield market can compensate investors.
