Other US-listed Malaysian companies have appeared on investors’ radar screens, buoyed by the successful exits of equity crowdfunding (ECF) investors. They include software company Sagtec Global and agriculture technology (agritech) firm Agroz Inc, which raised funds on licensed ECF platforms Ata Plus and pitchIN respectively.
The US stock market has captured the attention of local investors, driven by easier market access through digital brokers and rallies in the share prices of AI-related companies.
There are also the regional champions, most notably e-hailing company Grab. Founded by Malaysians but based in Singapore, the company has been profitable in recent financial quarters.
