SINGAPORE (Feb 26): The trustee-manager of Asian Pay Television Trust (APTT) is declaring a distribution of 1.625 cents per unit for 4Q17 ended Dec.
This brings total distributions to 6.5 cents per unit for FY17, unchanged from FY16 and the trustee-manager has also re-affirmed distribution guidance of 6.5 cents per unit FY18.
APPT reported 3.6% higher EBITDA of $51.8 million for 4Q17 ended Dec. This came on the back of a 0.9% rise in 4Q17 revenue of $84.7 million. Sales from basic cable TV in Taiwan came in 1.6% higher at $68.3 million, premium digital cable TV saw 4.5% lower sales of $3.8 million while broadband sales were 0.9% lower at $12.6 million.
For the FY17 ended Dec, EBITDA was 6.4% higher at $201.4 million while total revenue rose 4.9% to $334.8 million.
The manager says foreign exchange contributed to a favourable positive variance of 1.3% for 4Q17 and 5.9% for FY17.
Shares in APTT closed at 57 cents on Friday.
