This was partially offset by an increase in the average oil price from US$44.85 per barrel to US$54.27 per barrel.
SINGAPORE (Jan 30): CWX Global, formerly known as Loyz Energy, announced that 2Q18 earnings increased 172% to US$1.0 million ($1.31 million) compared to US$0.4 million in 2Q17, due to one-off settlement gains.
However, revenue for the period was down by half to US$1.27 million from US$2.57 million a year ago, due to a decrease in its share of oil production volume from its Thailand concession, as a result of the natural decline of the existing wells, coupled with lower investments in drilling last year when oil prices was lower.
