Hafary Holdings, which sells building materials, has reported earnings of $19 million for 2HFY2022, up 192.6% over 2HFY2021.
Revenue in the same period was up 44.6% y-o-y to $97.6 million.
This brings full-year FY2022 earnings to $29.4 million, up 153.6% y-o-y, on the back of a 34% jump in revenue to $168.9 million.
"The much better business performance for FY2022 was chiefly due to the confluence of the various positive market factors which include active resale market, robust demand from home buyers as well as the pent-up demand during FY2022," says the company in its earnings commentary.
Hafary plans to pay dividend of 1.5 cents per share, including half of that as a special dividend. This brings payout for FY2022 to 2.25 cents.
In the previous FY2021, the company paid a total of 1.5 cents.
