SINGAPORE (Feb 8): Informatics Education, the operator of private schools, reported 3Q earnings fell 24% to $0.84 million a year ago.
Revenue rose 4% to $2.3 million due to the higher number of students enrolled in the United Kingdom.
The group reported 3Q loss before taxation narrowed 22% to $0.84 million compared to a loss of $1.1 million a year ago mainly as a result of higher revenue along with lower employee benefits expense.
As at Dec 31, Informatics has net current and net liability positions of $5.2 million and $1.2 million respectively.
Shares in Informatics closed at 72 cents on Thursday.
