As Sun Group ramps up hotel and resort development in Phu Quoc, the Vietnamese real estate and tourism conglomerate is extending its “destination ecosystem” into the skies with daily direct flights from July 25 between Singapore and Vietnam’s largest island through its fully owned full-service carrier Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA).

Launched in October 2025, SPA will be the only full-service carrier on the three-hour Singapore-Phu Quoc route. Economy Class passengers will receive a 23kg check-in baggage allowance and Business Class passengers will receive two pieces of check-in baggage allowance at 23kg each. A light snack and beverage are served onboard across both Economy and Business Class cabins.

Dubbed a “resort airline”, the upcoming route marks the latest addition that “completes Sun Group’s comprehensive ecosystem”, says Eileen Lim, sales director at SPA and regional manager of travel sales representative Discover the World.
