Salesforce plans to invest US$1 billion ($1.33 billion) in Singapore over the next five years to accelerate Agentforce adoption and support the city-state’s National AI Strategy 2.0.

Agentforce is Salesforce’s digital labour platform, which enables organisations to build and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) agents that can autonomously reason, decide, act, and drive meaningful outcomes. This can help address Singapore’s slowing labour force growth amid an ageing population and declining birth rates.

According to Salesforce, its investment will help enterprises in Singapore scale their digital workforces by integrating human workers with AI agents, unlocking new productivity and innovation opportunities across industries, start-ups, and the public sector.
