Grab has launched a pilot programme with OPPO, Qualcomm Technologies, and Swift Navigation to bring lane-level GPS accuracy to its driver- and delivery-partners in Singapore.

Running since October 2025, the trial involves about 250 driver- and delivery-partners, including 60 using OPPO Find N5 devices sponsored by Grab and OPPO. Each phone runs on Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform and connects to Swift Navigation’s Skylark Precise Positioning Service, which corrects GPS signal errors in real time.

Skylark relies on data from the Singapore Land Authority’s Satellite Positioning Reference Network (SiReNT), a nationwide grid of ground stations that provides highly accurate location information. This enables Grab to achieve lane-level precision for last-mile navigation in Singapore’s dense city environment.
