I was recommended by my friend of Albedo Design, that time I was searching for a renovation contractor to renovate my house. Along the time, their ID was really helpful and professional to take care of all the process.

I recently engaged this company for my house renovation. It was a head-ace with low quality workmanship and lack of labours to complete the work on time. They where not able to keep this promise on timelines and quality. Labours quality- One person is there to do painting job, plumbing job and all handyman work. Cleanliness- They do not take care to cover the remaining areas and take care of household items while doing work. This lead to scratches and paints to be fallen on other household items. Lack of understanding- Some items that I intended to keep after renovation was disposed off. Had bought kitchen items based on the confirmation, later I am told those items cannot be fixed because size is not a match and I had to run around to get a replacement and settle with what I could get from the same suppliers. Overall quality- Parts of floor is left unpolished, because polish workers don’t even bother to move my furniture, even though I am charged 2 times for moving furnitures during painting and floor polish Overall lousy quality.

Very very bad experience with this company. Slow response, shoddy works, not professional. Almost 2 years since the starts of renovation in July 2019 and I am still chasing them to finish outstanding defective works. I did not post any feedback here earlier as I am trying to be patience with them. There is limits to ones patience. Updating my review from about a month ago: The ID, Melvin Woo, had since become uncontactable as he has left this company, without handing over the outstanding defective works to another staff to follow up. This is very irresponsible attitude. He did nothing much except work co-ordination and even then failed in his duty. Materials recommended are of either inferior quality or not appropriate for use (company trying to make more money? or due to ignorance). This company is basically a sub-contractor by origin and venture into ID work. Even as a sub-contractor their works quality is sub par. Now I am left with so much un-rectified defective works, new windows with defects (carried out by their sub-contractor), uneven vinyl flooring, broken floor skirting, popping and cracked wall tiles (by their own workers), that I might have to go to CASE to resolve the issue. Reply from their customer service is nonsense. What a good excuse to give that you extend the warranty due to covid. Renovation work was supposed to be completed and handover in Oct 2019, but so much delay and procrastination in rectification works that by lockdown in Apr 2020 not much were done. For obvious reasons, full payment already collected. "Buyer" beware. Even now (23/10/2021), request for material info used in the renovation goes unanswered. Need the info so I can get others to complete the defective works left behind by them. See their skirting work below.
