I was glad to come across Design 4 Space after considering 2 other ID firms. I received a follow-up from ID Sherwin right on the following day after I submitted a query to their office email. That was a really positive first impression since I didn't get a response to my email or only gotten a response 2 weeks after from my earlier experiences with other ID firms/ renovation contractors. Sherwin immediately initiated a meeting to understand my renovation requirements better. Though my project is considered small scale (i.e 2 bathrooms renovation), Sherwin was attentive and explained the process of works involved, especially waterproofing works for the bathrooms. I appreciated Sherwin's recommendations and considerations especially when it comes to tile selections and tile laying, and also other aspects/ areas of my house that I can consider improving while taking this opportunity when the bathrooms were undergoing works. The entire renovation period has been seamless to me, thanks to Sherwin's professionalism in ID and project managing.

Our ID from D4S was Terence Sin. For the initial design stage and quotation, Terence captured our requirements and proposed changes to the layout that was practical and achieved the aesthetic we wanted. We wanted the toilet door to be shifted away from the kitchen and he was able to propose a new layout that was practical. He also paid attention and care to the detailing to cater for future maintenance issues. There were some items that were missed out during the quotation process, but overall Terence was honest and sincere in addressing those issues. As the project went into the construction stage, Terence gave consistent and informative updates and was very responsive to our queries, often answering in a few minutes after we ask a question on whatsapp. He was very experienced in proposing suggestions for material selection and giving guidance on important aspects while still allowing freedom for our family to make decisions and give the final call. It was quite easy to work with him. Terence was also proactive in resolving site issues and highlighted important decisions that the family needed to make. We feel that Terence may still want to highlight the positioning of some furnishing which future customers may be more particular about, i.e shower heater, low walls etc. Some of the additional requirements we added on during construction were missed out, but they were not major, and Terence managed to come up with other solutions. He went above and beyond to address the items that were missed out, so for that we are also grateful for his service. During the end of the project Terence was responsive to rectify defects and workmanship issues highlighted in our final checks and it was well followed up on especially with all the different trades involved. Terence also supervised the rectification works and also solved some issues that were not spotted by us. He also brought in waterproofing specialists at his own cost when we had a lot of issues with the HIP water test. Overall we are very happy with the work done. The handover was as promised and we also got assurance that there is a liability period in case any of the items were discovered to have issues only after moving in. Our family is very happy with the final outcome of the renovation.

Eddie's prompt response and problem-solving skills were a true lifesaver, especially when addressing renovation challenges. He diligently managed the project timeline and showed a willingness to work with us based on our interior design references. The final outcome of the renovation, we are truly satisfied. We sincerely appreciate Eddie for their dedication and professionalism, which made our experience truly remarkable.

Qanvast helped us in getting a few quotes to initiate the process. D4S wasn't the cheapest, and neither was the most expensive too but what made us decide to further our renovation journey with D4S was the ID. Eddy was the most responsive and amenable ID that we came across, and that's why we ended up with D4S. He was professional and patient with us throughout the whole process. He respect our choices but at the same time, subtlely gave us advice for the renovation design too. Due to unforseen circumstances, we did burst our budget, and for that, he actually helped us to prioritize the necessary features instead, which was commendable. Overall, we are very happy with the outcome of our renovation, as he continued to help us with minor post-renovation issues too. We were confident to introduce Eddy to my colleague who has also started the renovation journey with him too. ?

From our 1st meet up, he have shown us that he is very knowledgeable and advise us on the space planning and things that is practical and require to balance our budget. Our dream homes was delivered to us exactly how we envisioned. With great workmanship and service throughout the whole Reno journey. My husband & I was impressed with how Ed manage the whole project and timeline with weekly update with pictures and video which gave us very confident on the ongoing progress. If you need an ID, look for Ed! We strongly recommend Design 4 Space! Both service & after service is well taken care of!
