We engaged Valerie Hoon from fifth avenue interior. We were absolutely delighted with her work. Her professionalism shone through at every step of the project, from our initial concept discussions to the final implementation. Her quick responses to our inquiries and concerns made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She were incredibly responsible, always ensuring that everything was executed flawlessly, and her excellent design sense truly transformed our space into a stunning, functional masterpiece. Near 3 months staying in our new place; We couldn't be happier with the results, grateful and happy with our decision to go with her as our interior designer for our first home makeover.

We engaged Carissa to renovate our 4-room BTO after she impressed us with a mood board during our 2nd meet which was in line with the style and requirements that we were looking for (we went through 12 IDs). She also did her best to meet our budget requirements where possible by proposing alternatives yet still ensuring that our requirements were met. During the course of the project, she arranged for the works to be carried out on time and accurately (and also went beyond to help manage works that we had outsourced!). The workmanship by her contractors was good and professional, which provided us a fuss-free experience. Carissa has a sharp eye for design and was able to deliver what we had in mind! It was a joy working with her.

As a first time owner, we had to go through the pain of meeting different IDs and understanding what are some of the questions they usually ask during the first consultation. From the meet-up session, we will usually discuss through how we felt about the designer and their ideas. After meeting about 15 IDs (we know it is a lot), we finally decided to go with Audrey from Fifth Avenue Interior Design. Our first meet up was an impromptu one, she dropped us a message asking when will we be available to have a meet up session. On the same day, we met up in the office at night to discuss our ideas. She was the first few IDs who took the effort and wrote down all our thoughts and concerns on her iPad. During the discussion throughout, both of us felt really open and easy to communicate our ideas to her. Furthermore, she gives very realistic and honest opinions on some of the design ideas that allow us to communicate better. For the second meet up, she was the one of the few IDs who put in the extra effort and presented a very impressive masculine mood board colors which were to our liking. Of course, there are bound to be some hiccups during the renovation which she promptly helped to resolve and we provided feedback to her as well. Even though she was an ID with not much experience compared to the rest of the IDs we met, she always seek advice and help from her colleagues and gives plenty of her thoughts and ideas. A renovation is never easy, we were extremely fortunate and glad to have Audrey guiding us through the process! All these while, she has been accommodating to most of our requests, providing value added services. Also, she is not pushy to go with her ideas but instead gives constructive ideas and suggestions which greatly helped us. Lastly, for us, she definitely ticks all the boxes of a good and decent ID, spending her time and effort on us. Hence, we highly recommend Audrey Tan to anyone who is looking to build their home like ourselves! Thank you for building our love nest together :)

Choosing Pamela from Fifth Avenue was one of our best decisions made for first-time homeowners! Especially after hearing many ID horror stories, it was very important to us that we vibe well with an ID who has great project management skills and Pamela far exceeded our expectations. From the very first meeting till the end, Pamela has always been very meticulous, patient and responsive throughout the process. Considering our lifestyle, design preferences and budget limitations, she was thoughtful in explaining the various options available to us / providing suitable guidance along the way. During the renovation, she was also on the ball with the updates (especially since ours was done during the covid period) and we didn't have to worry much about the progress. Till date even after the handover, Pamela remains very responsive and happy to help us if we have queries. Overall our home renovation was a very fun and pretty smooth process, and we received many compliments of our house, thanks to her and the team! Thank you so much for the hard work, we really appreciate it. Would highly recommend Pamela from Fifth Avenue :)

We engaged Pam despite the more expensive quotation (compared to other IDs we approached) because she showed genuine interest in what we wanted and came up with a proposal that was complementary to what we envisioned/spoke of in earlier meetings. Renovation went on very smoothly, without significant delays (with the exception of one week for carpentry installation), and handover was completed on our timeline. Pam was communicative the whole time and spoke with us promptly whenever issues/queries arose. I think we shared a good rapport with her in our aesthetic and home design too. Quality of the work done was generally good, with the exception of some minor aesthetic flaws occasionally, but these were usually rectified quickly. All in all, we were very pleased with Pam and her sub-contractors, and can definitely recommend her to others!
