My wife and I partnered with both Chris and Princeley for our first home renovation project and were provided with excellent advice & guidance during the initial design & planning phases. Throughout the entire process, they have been very professional and responsive to our needs, allowing us to entrust them with the renovation management. We are very please with the outcome and post renovation follow-up since moving in. Would highly recommend both Chris and Princeley for your home renovation journey.
Thank you to our lead ID Annabel and supporting ID Chris for making our renovation journey a smooth and memorable one for us! Both of them were always so quick to update and reply us and we truly truly appreciate this! They kept to their promises and most importantly kept to their schedule which helped us move in quickly. Most sub-cons did an amazing job and we are happy with their service rendered. Although every renovation will never be a perfect one, I think they did their best and we love the way the house turned out. Sending lots of love to you both and thank you once again!
Just as many other new homeowners, preparing for a new home is a whole journey. We started of our prep word and ID scouting way in advance and had a list of IDs to choose from. As we already had our minds set on what our home was to look like, it was important that we also selected an ID that had the same feel and love for the design in mind. After much thought and consideration, we selected Fineline Design mainly due to the assigned ID Annabel. The first impression always counts, and what we loved most on our very first interaction with her was the ability to understand our needs and how meticulous she was in her work. Throughout the planning stage, nothing was made impossible, and nothing felt unrealistic. We enjoyed how we could exchange ideas and always meet at a common point. As the theme selected for our home was more to the Mid Century theme, It was indeed an exciting journey for all of us. Annabel’s creativity and ideas boosted and enhanced the look and space in our home. Playing with colors was our next favourite, as the design enfolds a different color in every space, it was important that the colors flowed and matched throughout the home. While one would expect subtle colors, we went with a total opposite. Nonetheless, we were trully excited when we finally saw the initial 3D work and could not wait to get the ball rolling. As the project commenced, Annabel was also given a tight completion dateline due to unforeseen circumstances on our end. With a shared schedule planner and constantly keep each other updated on the progress at each stage. Annabel was always in the know of what was happening on site from day to day and was also seen onsite more that we expected. Our whole reno took a little more than 2 months to complete and all the contractors working alongside Fineline were great and ever so helpful. Kudos to the Vinyl team, Tilers, Plumbers, electrician and of course the Carpentry team. Our carpentry was not something common that would be completed in a few days and the level of detail required was unspeakable. I am super grateful to Han Wei and his team for delivering to our expectations and going the extra mile when needed. All in all, we are really happy with the outcome of our home. This would not be possible if its not led by an ID like Annabel and the contractors from the back. Great Job everyone !
Last year, I had a nightmare experience with a renovation company in Singapore that made me question if I had accidentally hired a group of toddlers instead of professionals. Their work was so bad that I swear it looked like a bunch of monkeys had gotten loose in my house. But my luck turned around when I attended a meet-and-greet event for designers hosted by Qanvast. That's where I met Melvin Pung from Fineline Design, and let me tell you, he was a godsend. My design idea was to make a three-room flat look as minimalistic as possible. But for those who know, the minimalistic look requires a lot more effort and design know-how to make it look minimalistic and effortless. However, Melvin listened to me, he understood my vision, and most importantly, he didn't treat my ideas like they were crazier than a pineapple on a pizza. Instead, he made my dreams come true and then some. He even added his own touch of genius to the project, which made it even better than I could have imagined. Not only that, but Marshall, the other half of the Fineline Design duo, made sure that everything was running smoothly and on schedule. Honestly, these guys are like the Batman and Robin of renovation - they swoop in and save the day with their impeccable workmanship and professionalism. So now, I'm working with Fineline Design on my next project, which involves a living green wall and shoe cabinets. And let me tell you, I'm more excited about this than a kid in a candy store. I know that with Marshall and Melvin on the job, everything will turn out perfect. Plus, they're so good that they even managed to include some extra work I requested, which just goes to show that they're willing to go above and beyond for their clients. I mean, who needs a genie in a bottle when you've got Fineline Design?
We are a mother-and-son duo with a 1-bedroom unit to renovate. Jeremy Choo is a very patient ID. He somehow managed to help us find common ground, in spite of our inter-generational differences in views on aesthetics, practicality, and budget. To add, he was very responsive and diligent in correcting the minor defects and flaws that we had spotted. Moreover, when we contacted him about our lighting issues 4 months after the handover, he responded quickly and liaised with the lighting vendors to resolve the issues. We truly appreciate his dedication to this project. We had three main objectives in our modern luxe design built around the pre-existing dark granite floor. Since we had no storeroom, our first objective was to build storage space. This was incorporated into our new TV feature wall. Jeremy proposed to use fluted panels for the doors. Although this option cost more than he had initially predicted, we were very impressed by the results. For a few grand in top-ups, it made our place look like it was worth way more than the top-up cost! Our second objective was to redo the whole kitchen, which featured ageing carpentry and dated tiles from the 90s. We also wanted to switch from gas to induction, and to transform the space into a semi-open kitchen. We are especially pleased with Jeremy’s recommendations on how to conceal the power points and switches using the carpentry. His solution was neat and practical. We are also grateful for how he put in extra space for us to upgrade our fridge in the future. That extra space was easily filled with wine bottles. Our final objective was to fabricate a shoe cabinet with a prayer niche. He shared that it was his first time working on a Catholic or Christian prayer space, but he understood the brief perfectly. We also realised after moving in that he had lined up one pair of down lights perfectly to aim straight into the prayer niche. And all the other down lights in the living room were aligned to that pair. This demonstrates Jeremy’s attention to detail. Overall, Jeremy was very patient in walking us through our options and in repeating the basics when they slipped our mind. Although he may not be the most punctual for appointments, he gets the job done well and follows up diligently. He also has this ability to nudge us towards tasteful design decisions that we would later appreciate. Finally, we are pleased with the workmanship of Fineline’s in-house carpentry team. Kudos to all!
