Leon and Kaden were professional, service-oriented, transparent and honest. From our engagements since our first meeting, it was clear their primary interest was to meet our needs, and not to push their own ideas or chase after sales numbers. They were patient in answering our queries, and realistic in their project budget and timeline estimation. When we went to source for fixtures and choosing of materials, they readily offered alternatives for consideration, did not rush us into making any decisions, and were prepared to make repeated trips so as to gave us time to consideration. Leon and Kaden always kept our design theme in mind when evaluating our ideas. As design lead, Leon was open to our ideas but also did not shy away from challenging them in a constructive manner if he felt the need to do so. He placed high emphasis on practicality and liveability. The design discussions we had with them was something that we enjoyed and appreciated greatly. Kaden was always responsiveness and punctual. Ever affable and polite, he responded to our queries during off-duties hours, even while he was on leave. He always checked in with us whenever there were changes on-site to previously agreed decisions, and willingly did up sketches and wireframe drawings to help us better visualise the changes spatially. The project was executed professionally and smoothly, and was delivered on time and on budget. There were no unexpected surprises during the 3-month long site works. They provided good after-sales services and had no qualms getting their contractors to fix up issues and touch ups at our requests, even for a request I raised 3 months after the project was handed over. Our entire renovation experience was stress and trouble free. My family really enjoyed partnering with them in our renovation journey!

Raymond was patient, attentive, responsive and meticulous in his discussions with my parents on the design and construction of an extended room and bathroom in my parent’s house. He was able to listen to their needs and modify his designs based on their specifications. He ran through with them the timelines and was even ahead of the scheduled completion with his works! They were very pleased with the work of his team who were all professional , creating minimal disturbance, noise and dust during the renovation, allowing my parents to remain living in the house the entire time of renovation. Well done !

We are so happy to have Brandon as our ID. The whole renovation process from design to touchup went by smoothly and Brandon is very reliable and responsive to our questions and requests. Though you are likely to pay more than other firms, know that every cent is worth it. We will definitely engage FSI again for our next reno project.

Brandon was recommended to me by my niece as she engaged him as ID for her new house previously. The interaction with him is pleasant, and I decided to engage him as well. He's helpful and prompt with all my requests. I'm pleased with his design and all the work done up. Now, I will always look forward to go back my cosy house after a long day of work.

We visited and spoke to quite a few other IDs that we found online and settled on FSI after speaking to Brandon. He was the first ID that offered us a creative design that utilises our high ceiling, and yet balanced with what’s practical and realistic based on our needs. Other IDs simply said yes it’s possible and agreed to everything that we said and stuck to what we proposed. One perk of FSI was also the unlimited 3D drawings that helped appease our OCD-ness and our indecisive natures during the design phase. Brandon was also not pushy in adding unnecessary built ins or features in his design. In fact he even advised us to invest more in our furnishings to bring out the uniqueness of the space instead as that’s his own preference for his own home too! During the building phase, despite being a simpler reno w minimal built ins, Brandon always kept us updated on the progress and responded to our queries quickly. He was also approachable in advising on the colour scheme for the items that we purchased separately such as our sofa, pendant light and dining table, in order to suit our house design theme. One thing that we appreciated was the working relationship he has with his partners such as VLUX lighting, where we made multiple trips down together with Brandon to speak to Eugene from VLUX. With their advice, we managed to get the lighting effect for our house as per how we envisioned it to be. Of course no renovation is complete without hiccups. However, Brandon was quick to reply to our concerns timely, and coordinated with his partners to minimise extensive delays. Being first time home owners, we were fortunate to have a relatively smooth sailing renovation experience with Brandon as our interior designer.
