Avoid this reno company if you wish to experience professionalism and high quality work. It has been a year since we had a horrid experience with this company. Their ID who has since left made many promises but never kept to the schedule. Most of the time, we had to chase him to get the work done and even resort to hiring our own plumbers to complete installing the toilet bowls. After 1 year, the doors of our kitchen cabinets are loose, the soft closing dont work, the toilet vanity cupboard is mouldy and many more issues. The company also dont respond to emails or whatsapp. Even the MD whom we contacted ghosted us!

I engaged Kai and Andrew to carry out re-renovation work of my kitchen. I had to re-renovate my kitchen due to the poor workmanship of my previous Contractor who not only did a very bad job, he also delayed the completion timeline. When I called the previous Contractor, he refused to admit his poor work done, and also refused to follow up to rectification work. As a result, i had to find a new ID to redo my kitchen so as rectify the problems caused by previous contractor. I have rejected most IDs as they were not able to meet my payment terms. Several IDs request that I make a large deposit even before any actual work is performed. Only HoneyComb is able to allow me to pay by 5 different milestone. This shows that they have confidence in their project mgmt and quality of work! Kai was very thorough and thoughtful in the entire reno process. There was no delay in completion timeline. He was on site to supervise the workers - this is very impt. He also provided regular updates to assure me. If there are issues, he will call and discuss with me. The design that Andrew and Kai had proposed to me was so much better than my previous contractor. Most importantly, the quality of wood and laminate that were provided were of very good quality. The finishings were done very well. Overall, I am very glad that i have engaged HoneyComb to redo my kitchen. I will highly recommend Andrew & Kai! Thank you Kai and Andrew for helping to make my reno a smooth and enjoyable process.

To be fair, I have not reached the stage of formal engagement. But the entire enquiry process has been rather frustrating. I was assigned to an ID with good reviews. I was happy... until I realised that the ID was non-responsive. After the firm (nice lady) put me up with that ID and got me to submit the necessary info, the ID went radio silence for few days. I thought perhaps he was just being dedicated to his existing projects. When he first responded (finally!), on/off discussion (I thought certain discussions were cut short) and he then provided me a floorplan. I was speechless. But I thought again, maybe I was inexperienced in writing an enquiry, so he didn't understand. I asked for a meetup (no, he did not ask for any). Non-responsive again. Only after I upped my budget and bring forward the construction timeline, he started responding more and we set up a date for meetup. One day before the meetup, he asked to bring forward the meetup to the SAME DAY. I said no, I have to work and is doing OT. Then he wanted to change to the following week. Ok, granted that you are busy, but surely things is on first come first serve basis? Ok, maybe you are too busy to manage. So, I asked the firm (still nice) to change an ID. Then, they gave me two IDs with no reviews at all. Ok, I get it, I am a dispensable customer. To be fair, staff is polite, but firm is clearly lacking interest in my project. Perhaps your experience will be better if you are offering a better budget or if you manage to reach the stage of engagement. Of course, I get it. No formal engagement, so they may not get the business, so it is not advantageous to put in too effort. But I would say that other IDs are making better efforts.

We engaged Honeycomb to custom-made a cabinet and dressing table for us. Jason and his team are friendly and patient despite the relatively small amount involved. A pleasure to deal with and will definitely go back to them again.

I have engaged Honeycomb Design Studio for my new BTO-ed home and have received quotations from Gabriel. I was very impressed by Honeycomb Design Studio as they have my expectations: competitive pricing, sophisticated design/ideas from Gabriel, excellent service attitude of the designer and exquisite workmanship within the given time frame I have no regrets engaging Honeycomb Design Studio as I am really satisfied with the final results. Gabriel was a pleasure to liaise with., he listened to my ideas patiently and provided well-thought professional opinion accordingly; he explains suggestions in detail and will even go further to propose more affordable alternative whenever it is possible so as to lower cost for us Despite the fact that I kept changing the ideas and layout I wanted, Gabriel was very patient and responsive. Furthermore, he is completely honest with his professional advise and will not hesitate to tell me if he feel that the design will not turn out nice. He also went beyond his job scope to assist me in selecting some furniture and fittings which he feel blend in with the interior design. I am glad that I followed his suggestions as I am very satisfied with the outcome. Overall, my experience with Honeycomb Design Studio was a great one and I highly recommend Gabriel as he provide exquisite designs which are practical and cost friendly at the same time
