Your home renovation experience depends on how professional your ID is AND your rapport with him or her. The ID's portfolio and design skills and proposed solutions are one thing, but if you don't have good rapport, your project is going to be painful. After meeting Stellon Lai from Inizio Atelier, my wife and I immediately felt good about him. He is honest and earnest, and hardworking, too. We could feel his sincerity in wanting to do a good job and deliver the most ideal results. We started working and planning the renovation with him in March 2023, two months before key collection. Renovation began on 21 June and ended two months later. Stellon was the sole project manager and only point of contact during the entire period. He was on-site several times a week, sending us photos and videos. For the latter, he would explain the work being done and told us about any issues encountered. If a decision had to be made, he would check with us first. If not, he would proceed according to the agreed plan after informing us, so we wouldn't be surprised. Stellon was also on-site to accept deliveries and the installation of items such as the induction hob and water dispenser. He was there for the curtain measurement and installation, despite the supplier not being affiliated with his firm. He advised us on furniture measurements (yes, furniture must have space to "breathe" and not just fit in your floor plan), colours and tones, appliance dimensions, etc. He accompanied us to select tiles as well. This was our first time engaging an ID to renovate an entire house (a four-room BTO). We had a relatively good experience, thanks to Stellon and Inizio Atelier's professionalism.

My husband and I engaged Andrew from Inizio Atelier to design our first dream home. As first time home owners, we have zero knowledge and Andrew was very helpful throughout the entire process. He was attentive to details and accommodating to our requests and preferences. As we were busy with our newborn and unable to visit the site, we really appreciate Andrew for updating us promptly and regularly. He meticulously managed the project timeline, coordinating with various contractors and suppliers, to ensure a seamless workflow. He also went the extra mile to do furniture shopping with us and advise in choosing the right furniture and lightings. Since the completion of our renovation, we have received many compliments from family and friends whenever they visit. Andrew was also very responsible and responsive post-renovation. He responded promptly for touch ups and rectifications. Overall, we are very satisfied with our new home. It has been our pleasure working with Andrew. Thank you for the hard work!

We have good experience with ID Stellon throughout the renovation process. He is helpful, responsive and extremely patient in fulfilling our request. He able to understand what we want and draw out the 3D picture for us in short time frame. We are so impressed with our cosy, good carpentry workmanship and beautifully designed home! When we started our renovation journey for our 5 bedroom resale at the Pinnacle@Duxton we knew that we wanted a few things. Firstly, we wanted a designer with proven experience with the development, who knew the ins and outs of the building. Secondly, we wanted a designer who could make decisions independently and proactively, as my husband and I both work long hours and travel a lot for work. Thirdly, we wanted a designer who would be prepared during design discussions, especially since my husband and I prefer being presented with choices and selecting between the different options. And lastly, a designer who we could trust to see the project through to completion. By a sheer stroke of luck, we stumbled across Inizio Atelier and Ben through another project he had completed at the Pinnacle. Whilst we met with 3 other designers, Ben was the first conversation that we had, and his preparedness and design eye stuck with us. Ben came to the first meeting with a floor plan prepared as well as a colour scheme. He brought with him an olive green laminate that he was inspired by, which served as design inspiration for the rest of our home. From that first meeting, we knew that Ben was the one we’d trust with our first home and are immensely that glad we chose him. We also had a very tight time frame ~12 weeks for a full renovation of the kitchen, floors and both bathrooms. Ben delivered on that time frame, despite issues that he encountered out of his control. The overarching theme in our journey with Ben was to “trust him”. We trusted him when he told us a false ceiling was required and would elevate the look of the home, we trusted him when he said a laminated headboard would be a great focal point in our bedroom, and when he said an island kitchen was not going to suit our needs. Ben made all the big design decisions for our home and because of his ownership and creativity, it was extremely easy for my husband and I to do so, to a really great outcome! Post Reno communication has also been great, he has worked tirelessly with our contractors to make sure defects were fixed in a timely manner, and negotiated discounts for us for additional work. We’ll let the photos speak for themselves. A thank you Ben for making our first home beautiful, this was a major chapter in our lives, and we’re so glad that we trusted you with it. To home owners looking for a great designer, partner, and friend, we cannot recommend Ben highly enough. Trust him to make the best home for you!
