We are glad to choose Jialux for our upgrading of our kitchen cabinet and wardrobe. Both Congsheng and Nicholas are very helpful and resourceful. They are very patient and are able to meet our budget and timeline. Their service and workmanship quality are excellent. The entire process was done within a month. We will definitely recommend Jialux and team for anyone who is looking to renovate their home.

Gerald Lim was assigned to us by the platform together with 4 other designers. Out of the 5 including 1 that texted me many months later after I have selected my designer, we find that Gerald is the easiest to talk to. As this is our first home, we kept changing our design. A few days before we finalized the design, we were still proposing few additional things. He was extremely patient with us. On several occasions, he had to accommodate our hectic work schedule and meet us late at night for alignment which we are very thankful. Engaging him is like engaging a friend that grew up with you to help create your dream home. After the planning stage, it is pretty much just him doing all the works and coordination including when to bring my furnitures and electronics in. The workmanship quality are good, everything feels quite solid. All minor rectification works were also settled within the week or the next. Overall, it is a very pleasant experience to deal with him. 10/10 would engage him again to help me with my next house.

My wife and I would like to give Nic from Jialux a shout out. Even though we did not go with him in the end, we wished to leave a review because he had always been accommodating and earnest in helping us, especially when we had not decided on what we really wanted and changed our mind every now and then. He provided sound advice to our requests and alternatives if there were better ideas. We wish you all the best on this ID journey and hopefully our paths cross again one day.

From the get-go, Ignatius has been amazing to work with. He is prompt, punctual, witty and never fails to get back to us within a couple of days. I like his initial confidence in being able to secure us as his clients, the reason why we went with him. This, coupled with his ability to visualize and come up with what we like in terms of aesthetics and functionality, made the whole process a 95% breeze. The remaining 5% went to the usual slight miscomms and minor corrections that come with any big projects/ angstiness of the homeowners in their quest to want their house to be PERFECT hahaha. Thank you for making our first house such a beautiful home and let's definitely stay in touch!! Thank you Ignatius! ☺️

An Unexpected ID journey – What started as a simple ID hunt turned into so much more… We had expected our house to be ready in Q3 2021. Hence, we started our search for an interior designer in 2020. After visiting over 10 different IDs, we were happy to find someone that could click with us – Alvin from Jialux. We signed the contract with Jialux in the midst of COVID. What we thought it would be a relatively short delay, turned out to be a 1-year delay. Suffice to say, we have worked together with Alvin for over 2 years and what follows is our honest review. This will be split into two parts – 1) Design phase and 2) Construction phase. Design Phase: Throughout this entire journey, Alvin was there for us to consult on our design decisions throughout the way, answering all our design queries and giving us opinions on our proposed changes. Our 3D was also completed in early 2021 shortly after confirming him and he even made changes as and when needed through the design phase. Our design style also kept changing as we began exposing ourselves to more interior design videos and ideas. Alvin was happy to accommodate our requests, and excited to explore various possibilities with us! Even after collecting our keys, Alvin was accommodating towards hs when we made colour changes and deviation from our agreed 3D. He heard us out, went to get some samples, and within a week propose several new colors to us. Hats off to him for his quick efficiency and his organizational ability to get things done. Alvin is a huge believer of making the house work for you. He will not hesistate to ground us whenever our ideas get too wild. Construction Phase: When we finally gotten our key and finished the initial defect check, Alvin was extremely quick to book the timing of the different vendors. Their workmanship was also neat. We were amazed that some of the vendors were able to come down to our house so quickly, given that there was a queue for several of them as they were also being used in other Jialux projects. As we wanted to be more involved in the renovation process, we found difficulties coordinating with Alvin and the vendors as some of them could only confirm their schedule last minute. However, if you are the kind to just leave it to the designer, you can rest easy knowing that your renovation will proceed to the specifications you had provided. We would say that we were fully satisfied with the end result and even to this day, 2 full months after handover, Alvin would still attend to any defects that occur without any extra charge. In conclusion, we are extremely happy with going with Alvin from Jialux as our interior designer. Although he might not be taking on many projects nowadays, his management skills and ability to get things done is second to none! If you have an idea of the design that you want, be assured that Alvin will make it a reality.
