I have had the pleasure of working with Farhana at Make Room for 2 years (designing 2 apartments), and had a wonderful experience! Farhana has a keen eye for beautiful pieces of art & furniture, and styles them together in a way that really matches what I like. As a result, my past two apartments have felt stylish, comfortable, and personalized to my lifestyle — which is all you can ask for in a home! On top of this, Farhana is just fabulous to work with! She’s responsive, flexible, patient, makes her clients feel heard, and really makes the experience a fun & collaborative one. I’m always happy to refer her and the Make Room team to friends of mine. Make Room is a great design company! They try to understand who their client is and design with that in mind. They were able to give me a large wardrobe space while still maintaining a bright and airy feel to the room with a touch of colour to match my new sheets - an inspired way to pull together the look of the room. They translated my desire for an elegant and sleek kitchen and powder room into beautiful sintered stone counters, warm cabinet laminates and beautiful lighting. What I loved best was their bold and unusual ideas for my patio and bathroom which were so unique and stunning! And they worked immensely hard to deliver every aspect of the design to my satisfaction, both in terms of material selection and design specifications. A huge shout out to Niamh & Karina for their very excellent work!

I’ve done several renovations over the years but never achieved a cohesive look. It was just too hard for me to select furnishings that would work. Finally! Make Room really filled a competency gap for me. I had fun working with Farhana on the revamp of my living and dining spaces. She took references from what my husband and I liked and made them work for our space. She was flexible enough to evaluate my picks for some pieces that I preferred to get with a lower budget and worked around some of my more unique requirements, like a red main door. Thank you for making this enjoyable and pain free, Farhana! And for being so patient with my endless questions. My whole family loves how our home looks now. I’m super happy each time I step through my front door. :)

Will did a great job of combining his experience with my personal desired style. We kept within budget and managed to adapt when certain items were not available. Was a fun experience and definitely recommend MakeRoom!
