A Dream Home Transformed: A testament to friendship and the expertise of Met Interior Our journey with Met Interior began when we were searching for an interior designer (ID) for our previous home. Three months of renovations and three years of living in our transformed abode, we're not just satisfied clients, but also friends with Young, our ID from Met Interior. This enduring relationship is a testament to the friendship we've developed over the years and the level of understanding we have between us. The transformation of our home was nothing short of remarkable. If you could compare the original state of the house to how it looks today, you'd understand the extent of the work that's been done. For a good portion of the renovation year, it was in a serious state of disrepair. Young was there to help us all the way, navigating the complexities of the renovation process amidst the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. One particular challenge that stood out was extending the plumbing all the way to the jack-and-jill ensuite. The original bath and toilet were right at the back of the house, and creating this new bathroom meant having to submit drawings to the Public Utilities Board (PUB), halting all work while waiting 14 working days for their response, before we could start laying new sewage pipes. Due to the distance from the main inspection chamber (I.C.), we also had to build a secondary I.C., which is now cleverly hidden under our dining table (not that any of our guests have noticed it yet). From the moment we viewed the unit, we knew we were in for a complete overhaul. We didn't even bother looking into any of the seven bedrooms or the toilets. The key question was the definitive width and length of the house, and whether there were going to be any awkward beams or pillars in the middle of the walkway. Young's expertise and understanding were invaluable throughout the process. He was able to help us solve a lot of problems that we were unaware of, proactively seeking solutions without us having to worry excessively about issues that arose along the way. His dedication and design acumen were instrumental in our home being featured in Vogue magazine, a true testament to the exceptional work of Met Interior.

Young is a great ID who is very responsive. He has great design thinking ability and is able to incorporate functionality and design seamlessly. He is able to incorporate our ideas into our dream home! Practical but yet pragmatic! He is able to work within our budget and provide feasible solutions to trim costs but yet provide quality finish. He is very responsive and seems to be able to attend to our needs even though he has a few projects going on at the same time. Definitely recommended!!

Got recommended through a friend to MET Interior and get to know Melvin and Eric, I cannot commend enough about their utmost professional service and attitude in rendering our home renovation every step of the way. From meeting up for our first appointment to design our house to handing over the keys to us to our lovely home, they did a excellent job throughout. Update the progress of our home and also consult us what is the best solutions they will come up with to settle issues that we face.
