It was a regrettable experience with U-Home Interior Design. Their business practices were unprofessional and irresponsible. Throughout our engagement, they made promises they couldn't keep and displayed dishonesty behavior such as using lower quality material. ID was also unresponsive. Their actions were consistently unfair and, as a result, I would strongly advise against working with them. There are better IDs in Singapore out there. This review serves as a warning to others, so they do not have to endure the same unfortunate experience that we did.

Recommended to Mavis of U-Home after a nasty experience with our initial ID who could not honour their quoted renovation sum despite us paying our design fee. Had to re-start our entire renovation journey but Mavis was thoroughly professional and able to bring our dream design to life. Despite the short lead time and our requirement to complete within 2 months, Mavis was able to draw up a renovation schedule in less than 5 days and commit to meeting our timeline. This was in contrast to our previous ID who dragged their feet, being unable to produce a renovation schedule to commit. The difference was night and day. While Mavis doesnt give day-to-day updates, we visited the site daily and were extremely re-assured when what was stated on her renovation schedule was completed on time, every single time. There were instances of communication breakdown with the contractors on materials and measurements, but those were quickly resolved and rectified after we highlighted to Mavis. Mavis and U-Home have certainly earned our trust and managed to deliver where our previous ID had failed and lied to us. Definitely recommend U-Home to anyone looking for an experienced ID with over 20 years of credible experience under their belt.

We engaged U-home for our 2room resale unit and the ID we had was Mr Ray Chan when we walked in to their showroom at IMM. Ray was very attentive and responsive when we conveyed our ideas to him, and he was able to conceptualize the ideas into something interesting, even with our weird requirements/ideas, especially in our toilet. Before U-home, we had many discussions with other major ID companies, but many of them MIA after the initial chat, perhaps our unit is too small/our project is too insignificant to their companies. With every renovation project, there is bound to be problems/issues. We encountered some issues along the way, but Ray was always quick to respond and offer solutions to rectify the problems. Even when he was out of the country, he was able to resolve our issues within a short time. We will definitely recommend U-Home (especially Ray) to homeowners looking to renovate their homes.

We have engaged UHome for our previous home renovation many year back. The quality of work and finishing workmanship from UHome works are unparalleled to any other home interior designing company that I have come across. The well though after consideration for things that we do not pay attention to is only realized after we have personally experience it upon completion of renovation works. For example, in my first engagement with UHome for renovation work of my previous residential unit, we have done an overhaul of the entire toilet. The fine detail like the gradient of the shower area to make sure all residue water is drained properly to the drainage hole is done so perfectly that the shower area stay literally dry all the time within 30min after shower. We have recently moved to a new place and engaged UHome to design and renovate the unit, with a very tight schedule and quite a bit of renovation works as according to our desired outcome. Amazingly UHome has once again proven to us that they kept their promises, and delivered our new unit within the agreed timeline. I would want to call out especially Toyce , the UHome ID designer in-charge of the overall design and execution of the renovation work. Toyce has been very detail in the entire planning, start work, progress monitoring and following up works right until the day of final delivery. Her diligent and professionalism shown for the entire engagement is truly commendable. I have already recommended UHome to every one that I know who will be starting or looking for a home ID company. UHome does not charge extravagantly while able to deliver quality works, using quality product and materials.
