ID Chris chia is a man with design ideas. He certainly knows with his stuff knowledgeable in renovation. He gave us lots of advice and ideas in making our new home. Even with those weird shape of the bedroom, he still able to do it so nicely without compromising the space we needed. Chris is also approachable and friendly. We are amazed by his professionalism, organised and he make sure all the small details are taken care of. We are comfortable working with him and we would definitely recommend him to future home owners who are looking for trustable ID to get their renovation done.

I had the pleasure of working with Carine and Michael for our house renovation, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Their enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the entire project were truly remarkable. From the initial design concepts to the final finishing touches, Carine and Michael were dedicated to bringing our vision to life. They listened attentively to our ideas and offered valuable suggestions that enhanced the overall design. Carine and Micheal were not pushy and respected our preferences even when they disagreed with it. Their passion for interior design was present in every detail and was evident during the first meeting at the ID fair at Qanvast. What stood out the most was their commitment to professionalism. They were always organized and maintained clear communication throughout the project. It made the entire renovation process smooth and stress-free especially when my husband was away and I needed to make certain decisions. They were also very sweet to gift us a sink cover top as our wedding gift which was useful and practical. I highly recommend Carine and Michael for any interior design project. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and professionalism are a winning combination that will undoubtedly transform your space into something truly special. Most of the renovation works were left to Michael and Vincent to handle. I did not need to go to my place to check the status as often as they will give updates accordingly. Communication with them is also very clear and concise, and they will make sure that both of our understanding is the same as theirs. Workmanship of their contractors are also very professional and they will make sure that the works are done to satisfactory level.

Found Visionary ID on Qanvast and was assisted by Ian Chan & Louis Lee. Ian gave us fresh design ideas that caught my eye and decided to go with him as our ID. They were very responsive and accommodated to my renovation wants and needs. They were very knowledgeable and helpful to suggest the pros and cons before starting on reno, and even suggested better ideas which would suit my budget better. Reno also ended during the estimated time frame given by Ian. Highly recommended!

I didn’t know what to expect. With all the horror stories about renovation nightmares, all I could do was to pray that the choice I made was the right one. My wife and I went to 9 IDs, painstakingly meeting each of them across 3 weeks in various locations across Singapore. I have to admit, I didn’t think Visionary Interior would come anywhere near my top choices but somehow I decided to give them a chance. In our first meeting, Michael, the ID assigned to us was just different from most of the IDs we met. While generally we had a standard floorplan, we gave the IDs a tough task of putting a separation between kitchen and yard (the original kitchen did not have this because of the size but we wanted to try our luck). Some IDs shrugged us off, saying it is not practical. Some said okay but gave impractical ideas. Some did not do their homework though we contacted them earlier to give time for brainstorming. Michael was different. He showed us the effort he placed into planning around the limitations we had. He had different sketches and ideas during our first meeting. He was enthusiastic and passionate. What made it even more convincing for us was the way he communicated when we disagreed or proposed our preferences. He wasn’t quick to respond during our discussion, taking the time to think through (which we really appreciated) Michael is not the ID who is fixed in his own ideas and rigid to trying to convince us to adopt his. He is a person who took into consideration our thoughts and merged it together with his expertise. We love this because we believe an ID should have his own personality even though we have our preferences. We wanted a designer, not a puppet. We are worried that he could be a sweet talker nonetheless. But decided to give him a try by asking for a 3D of what he envisioned. One or two weeks later when we sat down with him, we were blown away. The idea turned out so much better than we expected and we decided to engage him. The renovation process was not without hiccups – I doubt anyone has a totally fuss free renovation anyway. But throughout the renovation, Michael was responsive and assuring. He would go above and beyond to ensure the process flowed as smoothly as possible. Bryan, his more senior (I assume) compatriot partnered with him when the renovation started. Both have their strengths and complemented each other well. We had a tight timeline which they tried their best to fulfill. They expedited what they could to ensure that our house was reasonably ready in time for us to move in (we wanted to give them more time but circumstances forced us to move earlier than the ideal). Sure, there were times we wished they remembered our requests better but eventually they rectified the mistakes. What I appreciate about Michael and Bryan is that they are not calculative and also their readiness to accommodate to some of our later requests. We may be their clientele but we are treated like friends and communication throughout the whole process was friendly despite the hiccups. The contractors that work with them are mostly pretty friendly and accommodating too, which we appreciate a lot. How about the outcome? It was beyond our imagination. I’m not saying it is perfect. There are minor imperfections of course. Imperfections that we understand and can overlook. But each time we look at the finished product, we are thankful to have engaged Michael, Bryan and Visionary Interior. They worked with the limitation we had and did a fantastic job. This is now truly a place we can call home.
