) (SIA) has signed agreements with leading sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer, Neste and US-based energy solution provider, World Energy to acquire SAF and SAF certificates to support its decarbonisation journey.
The first transaction saw the airline acquire 1,000 tonnes of Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA)-eligible neat SAF, sourced from Neste.
