Less than a week after DBS’s customers suffered from service disruptions, some of DBS PayLah!’s users found themselves unable to access their digital wallet.
In a Facebook post by DBS, the bank said that access to PayLah! is “intermittent”. The bank added that users may use its digibank Scan & Pay & DBS/POSB debit or credit cards for payments.
“However if you are able to access PayLah! and are eligible for the DBS 5 Million Hawker Meals cashback, you will receive your rebate by today,” it explained.
As at 11.40am, services for PayLah! returned to normal.
The latest disruption comes just after the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) asked the bank to conduct a thorough investigation as to why it was not able to recover its systems fully within the required timeframe.
As at 1.13pm, shares in DBS are trading 12 cents lower or 0.36% down at $33.05.
