HandHandle duplicate Breaking news pushes
Problem: Users receive multiple push notifications for the same article due to the "breaking news" checkbox being inadvertently left checked. This causes false alarms, repetition, and potential user dissatisfaction.
Requirement: Prevent the same article from triggering multiple push notifications to avoid false alarms and repetitive alerts, thereby improving user experience and reducing unsubscribe rates.
Can we have some of these options?
- Duplicate Check:
Implement a check to prevent sending duplicate push notifications for the same article. - Notification Cap:
Limit the number of notifications for the same article within a specified timeframe (e.g., 24 hours). - User Interface Update:
Add a confirmation prompt or setting to manage and review notification sends, preventing accidental duplicates. - Auto uncheck: After the 1st push notif was checked and save, it should reset and uncheck when the user edits the article + CMS display: Below the last option, to display the last sent notification.
