Daiwa House Logistics Trust’s (DHLT) properties have sustained minor physical damage following the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that affected northeast Japan on March 16.

In a stock exchange filing, DHLT’s manager said the full extent of the damage on the two properties located near the earthquake zone — namely DPL Sendai Port and DPL Koriyama — can only be ascertained after a more detailed assessment.

There were no casualties reported and the DHLT properties remained in operation. The manager will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further updates when appropriate, it said in the statement.

The earthquake had caused at least four casualties and injured over 100 others.

Shares in DHLT closed 0.5 cent higher or 0.61% up on March 17 at 81.5 cents.
