SINGAPORE (Oct 31): MindChamps PreSchool has opened its first purpose-built flagship centre in Australia.

The new A$7 million ($6.6 million) centre, which can accommodate up to 94 children aged from six weeks to six years, is located at Frenchs Forest in Sydney.

The centre includes a full industrial kitchen with a chef who will prepare nutritious farm-to-fork meals with the involvement of the children, who will also care for and harvest a kitchen garden.

MindChamps says its proven curriculum and the introduction of six learning zones within each classroom will lift the standards of education and child development.

The six separate zones are for reading and writing, numeracy, construction, drama, arts and crafts, and enquiry-based play.

“There is nothing more important than an education and nothing more valuable than an educator who can inspire. The whole structure and ethos of MindChamps is around that,” says Brad Hazzard, the New South Wales Minister for Health and Medical Research.

“Australia’s leaders of tomorrow are our preschoolers today,” says David Chiem, founder, CEO, and executive chairman of MindChamps.

“It is our duty to provide an education model that nurtures the mindset for their success in the unknown world of the 21st century. Those who possess the Champion, Creative and Learning Minds will be far more equipped for that future world,” he adds.

As at 10.58am, shares in MindChamps are trading flat at 53.5 cents.

The counter is currently trading 23% lower than its recent peak closing price of 69.5 cents in May this year, and 35.5% lower than its initial public offering (IPO) price of 83 cents in November 2017.
