Disposable gloves made by Top Glove in Malaysia will be admissible at all US ports of entry as of Sept 10.

Top Glove Corporation has announced that Top Glove Malaysia has been allowed to resume exporting and selling gloves to the US.

In a filing to the Singapore Exchange on Sept 9, the company disclosed that following the modification of a finding by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the agency has affirmed that disposable gloves made by Top Glove in Malaysia would be admissible at all US ports of entry as of Sept 10.

“Top Glove wishes to express its utmost appreciation to CBP for its responsiveness in modification of the Finding. Top Glove also wishes to thank the Malaysian government and the company’s valued stakeholders for their support and understanding in this matter,” the company says.

As at 9.40am, sharers in Top Glove are up 4 cents or 3.57% higher at $1.16.
