The larger of the two contracts, worth some RMB203 million, is to build a 1.73-km-long underground subway section from Urumqi’s airport. It is due for completion by end of 2022.
SINGAPORE (May 26): Engineering firm Sapphire Corporation has won two engineering contracts in Urumqi, and also lease out a tunnel boring machine, thereby adding RMB235.9 million to its order book.
With these newly-announced contracts, Sapphire’s order book has grown to RMB1.5 billion.
