Sembcorp has won solar energy projects totalling 82MWp year-to-date, including the projects from HDB and JTC. Overall, Sembcorp’s portfolio in Singapore has now grown to 362.3MWp2 of solar power capacity in operation and under development.
Sembcorp Industries has won a 60 megawatt-peak (MWp) solar energy project by the Housing Development Board (HDB) and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the company announced in a press release dated March 12.
The contract follows another solar energy project it was awarded by JTC Corporation earlier this year for a 17.4MWp solar system on 48 JTC buildings.
