A part of Aoxin Q&M Dental’s operations in China face temporary closure, in light of a fresh Covid-19 cluster detected in Liaoning Province.
This is part of the directive to all medical facilities that the National Health Commission of China has issued to temporarily suspend all non-emergency medical treatments, including dental services.
The affected operations include Shenyang Huanggu Aoxin Dental Clinic to be closed on March 8, Gaizhou City Aoxin Q & M Stomatology Hospital to be closed on March 14, Zhuanghe City Aoxin Dawei Dental to be closed on March 15, Jinzhou Aoxin Youxin Dental Clinic to be closed on March 17 and Shenyang Shenhe Aoxin Stomatology Polyclinic to be closed on March 19.
Updates on further re-openings will be announced when the group receives new directives from the National Health Commission.
The group operates 16 dental centres that are made of ten dental polyclinics and six dental hospitals located across eight cities in Liaoning Province, namely Shenyang, Huludao, Panjin, Gaizhou, Zhuanghe, Jinzhou, Dalian and Anshan.
Shares in Aoxin Q&M Dental closed flat at 19.5 cents on March 22.
