Since its launch in June 2022, GenZero has invested in 24 climate-focused ventures across 17 countries and five continents. These investments span three pillars: nature-based solutions, technology-based solutions and carbon ecosystem enablers.
Temasek-owned decarbonisation-focused investment subsidiary GenZero has released its inaugural sustainability report three years into its launch. By March 31, 2028, GenZero aims to achieve at least 7 million tonnes (MtCO₂e) in “cumulative direct realised climate impact” based on its ownership share across its investment portfolio.
This refers to emissions reduced or removed by a climate solution in GenZero’s portfolio, according to the 68-page report released on Sept 1.
