Singapore and the European Union have signed a digital trade agreement called the European Union-Singapore Digital Trade Agreement (EUSDTA) today.

The digital trade agreement aims to enhance digital connectivity and facilitate end-to-end digital trade between the two parties. The implementation of the agreement will see greater clarity and legal certainty for citizens and businesses.

The trade agreement was signed by Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations Grace Fu and EU Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maroš Šefčovič.
