Penny stock Alset International plans to diversify from its traditional e-development business into hospitality, clean energy, high technology farming and e-commerce and direct selling.

For hospitality, Alset plans to develop, operate and franchise cafés, restaurants and bars, car rental and/or leasing business and the business of operating hotel, travel and airline reservation company for business and leisure travel.

The company will pivot to clean energy solutions and services including energy generation and storage within the clean energy supply chain.

High technology famring solutions include developing, commercialising, investing in, operating and/or licensing of equipment, plants, farms and/or technologies used for high technology farming and any other related business within the same supply chain.

Alset plans to move into the beauty and wellness sector by developing and operating an e-commerce business, and direct selling.

These businesses may have little in common but Alset says they can be complementary.
