Choo Oi Yee, the CEO of ADDX, has been appointed as a non-executive independent director of CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (CLAR) A17U .
The board of the REIT manager said that they were confident that Choo would contribute to the deliberations of the board. Choo’s appointment also factored in the board size and composition, including the skills, knowledge, experience and gender.
Prior to ADDX, Choo was the managing director and head of UBS Singapore’s Singapore investment banking department. She was also previously at Morgan Stanley Singapore as its executive director and head of its Singapore investment banking department.
Units in CLAR closed 1 cent lower or 0.36% down at $2.80 on Feb 21.
