Credit Suisse, which recently reorganised to place more focus on its wealth management business, has appointed Benjamin Cavalli as head of wealth management Asia Pacific.
Cavalli was previously head of private banking South Asia, Singapore CEO and APAC sustainability leader. He joined the bank in 2009 as head of private bank for the Singapore market and was then made head of Southeast Asia in 2014.
Jinyee Young, who is now the bank’s market group head for its private bank business in Singapore, Malaysia and South Asia, will be made the deputy head of wealth management Asia Pacific.
Young will join the bank’s key governance committees, including joining the APAC operating committee as the bank’s third female member after Chien Chien Wong (COO APAC) and Janice Hu (CEO China).
