The manager of Elite Commercial REIT has announced the appointment of Chinoy Yezdi Phiroze as an independent non-executive director on July 1.
Phiroze, 54, currently serves as the regional chief investment officer, Asia for Italian insurance company Assicurazioni Generali. He also previously served as CEO of Generali Investments Asia.
Prior to joining Assicurazioni Generali, Phiroze worked AllianzGlobal Investors Singapore, including as head of compliance for Southeast Asia and South Asia.
As at 10.03am, units in Elite Commercial REIT are up 0.5 British pence or 0.75% higher at 67.5 British pence.
