Incoming chairman Witt is currently the group managing director of Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited. He has held the role since 2020 when he also became managing director of DFI Retail, Hongkong Land and Mandarin Oriental.
Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited has appointed John Witt as the new chairman of the group, following the announcement of the retirement of Benjamin Keswick on Aug 2.
Keswick has spent over 12 years as chairman of JC&C, and will also step down as a non-executive director, and cease to be a member of the nominating committee and remuneration committee. He will remain executive chairman of Jardine Matheson Holdings (SGX:J36
) Limited, the major shareholder of JC&C.
