Seatrium has appointed Mariel von Schumann as an independent director to its board. Her appointment will be effective from Oct 1.
She will also be appointed as a member of Seatrium’s transformation committee as well as a member of its corporate social responsibility committee.
Following Schumann’s appointment, Seatrium’s board will now comprise 10 directors, of whom eight are independent directors and three are female directors.
Schumann has over 20 years of experience in leading management roles with a deep knowledge of renewables, including manufacturing and servicing on- and offshore wind turbines, says Seatrium.
She was the former chief of staff at Siemens AG and is currently a member of the supervisory board of Agora Strategy Group. Schumann is also currently the chairwoman of the supervisory board of Verti Versicherung AG.
