SIA Engineering appoints former PwC Singapore vice chairman as independent director
Quek Bin Hwee has been appointed as an independent, non-executive director with effect from April 1.

SIA Engineering Company is appointing Quek Bin Hwee as an independent, non-executive director with effect from April 1. She will also be a member of the board audit committee.

Quek is the former vice chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Singapore, where she was an audit partner for over 25 years. She is also a chartered accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Quek’s other positions at PwC include deputy markets leader of PwC Asia Pacific and Americas and client and markets leader of PwC Asia Pacific. Her experience spans statutory audits, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, fraud investigations, business and finance.
