The former group chief executive Vincent Phang, alongside Vincent Yik and Li Yu, former group chief financial officer and former chief executives were all dismissed after having been found being negligent in the handling of international investigations over a whistle-blower’s report.
Singapore Post (SingPost) has appointed Mark Chong as its new group chief executive officer (GCEO), effective Nov 1. Chong joins from Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) as its current group chief corporate officer.
The 62-year-old’s posting comes months after the group CEO position has been left vacant, since the public firing of three top executives last December.
