ValueMax has appointed Yeah Chia Kai, Steven as its chief operating officer (COO). Yeah’s appointment is effective June 1.
Steven Yeah is the son of ValueMax’s managing director, Yeah Hiang Nam. He is also the brother of ValueMax’s executive director, Yeah Lee Ching.

Prior to this role, Steven Yeah, who will oversee group operations, was executive director of ValueMax’s pawnbroking arm from 2013 to 2019.
Shares in ValueMax closed flat at 36 cents on May 31.
