(March 20): The Farrer Park Co is exploring a sale of assets including a hospital, medical centre and hotel in Singapore, according to people familiar with the matter.

The company has tapped Goldman Sachs Group Inc to help prepare a sale and may seek a valuation of more than US$2 billion ($2.56 billion) for the properties, the people said, asking not to be identified because the information is private.

Deliberations are preliminary, and Singapore-based Farrer Park might decide not to sell, the people said. A representative for Farrer Park didn’t respond to a request seeking comment, while Goldman Sachs declined to comment.
