Keppel Offshore & Marine (Keppel O&M) has delivered its fifth Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD), Ortelius, a 6,000 m3 TSHD, to Jan De Nul Group with a perfect safety record.
The delivery follows three 3,500 m3 TSHDs and one 6,000 m3 TSHD in 2019.
All five TSHDs are Ultra-Low Emission vessels (ULEv) and the world's first European Union (EU) Stage V dredgers.
This is in line with Keppel’s Vision 2030, which puts sustainability at the heart of its strategy, says Keppel O&M in a statement released on Dec 16.
