Manufacturing Integration Technology (MIT) has triggered a query from the Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) following ‘unusual volume movements’ on June 2.

As of 10.39am, 10.6 million of the company’s shares have been traded. In comparison, MIT’s monthly trading volume across the last three months averaged around 6 million shares.

Pursuant to the trading activity, the company’s share price jumped to a high of 7.5 cents this morning, up 25% or 1.5 cents from its previous close of 6 cents.

The query from SGX RegCo was issued at 10am, with MIT asked to reveal any information that could explain the trading. It was also asked to confirm its compliance with the listing rules.

As at 10.43am, shares in MIT are up 0.1 cents or 16.7% higher at 7 cents.
