DBS Group Holdings’ CEO Tan Su Shan has been named one of Fortune’s top 10 most powerful women in business in 2025.

Tan, who took over as CEO of DBS on March 28, was ranked sixth on this year’s list and is the only Singaporean to be on it. Last year, Tan was placed 89th on the magazine’s list of 100 female leaders in business, when she was serving as DBS’s deputy CEO. Tan's appointment as deputy CEO and successor to outgoing CEO Piyush Gupta at the time was announced on Aug 7, 2024.

This year, Mary Barra, chair and CEO of General Motors, topped the list, followed by Julie Sweet, chair and CEO of Accenture. Jane Fraser, CEO of Citigroup, rounded up the top three. Lisa Su, chair and CEO of AMD, came in fourth place while Ana Botin, executive chairman of Spain’s Banco Santander, placed fifth.
