This year, as SME100 Singapore celebrates its 10th year since its inauguration in 2015, the awards continue to adopt one of the most stringent evaluation criteria for all nominees. The five-step process included both qualitative and quantitative analysis, as well as a 100 percent interview requirement with a focus on growth (turnover, profit, and market share) and resilience (best practices, sustainability, and vision).
Baker Tilly Singapore, the Official Auditor of SME100, is tasked with ensuring the credibility of SMEs by adhering to predetermined requirements and guidelines established by the Organiser.

To be considered for an SME100 Award, your company must fulfill the following criteria:
● A minimum annual turnover of SGD 500,000 or 10 full-time employees for services, primary agriculture, and ICT industries.
● A minimum annual turnover of SGD 1,000,000 or 20 full-time employees for manufacturing-related and agro-based industries.
● Can either be a holding company or a subsidiary. If the holding company participates, all subsidiaries will not be eligible.
● Must not be listed on any stock exchange or market share.
